AdoptAClassroom is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equity in education, one classroom at a time. To help California students receive an equitable education, the CalEdAssist Back-to-School Flash Fund provides 100 teachers with a $400 donation through AdoptAClassroom.org to purchase school supplies for their classrooms.
Jovenes’ mission is to empower homeless youth and students to become active and integrated members of our community. The CalEdAssist Scholarship Fund supports students in the Jovenes College Success Initiative, which seeks to assist homeless college students achieve their goals by providing housing and supportive services.
The mission of the Bay Area Girls Club is to uplift girls ages 5-18 to be gamechangers through programming that develop life skills, encourages curiosity and discourse, and fosters communities. The CalEdAssist grant supports BAGC’s College Bound Program’s college tours, college application process, first-year college supplies (laptop, etc.), and stipends for mentors.
